Game 8 – Oceanside 9 vs AV Sharks 3

Game 8 started at 11:45 am Dec. 22nd on the Weyerhaeuser Arena

In the first period it was the Oceanside Jets that scored first with a goal from #7 Dallas Earl, assisted by #5 Kent Stouffer.  AV Sharks scored with 8:02 on the clock with a goal from #14 Rick Dunnington.  Oceanside return with another goal from #7 Dallas Earl.  At the end of the first period the score is Oceanside 2 vs Sharks 1.

In the second period, Oceanside scored 6 goals.  The goal scorers were #3 Gage Boulton, #11 Zeyd Boltakke, #15 Ty Boulton, #8 Kristian Running and 2 goals from #7 Dallas Earl.  Alberni Sharks got their second goal of the game from #14 Rick Dunnington.  At the end of the second period, the score is Oceanside 8, Sharks 2.

Oceanside scored early in the third period with a goal from #7 Dallas Earl (His 5th goal of the game).  Alberni Sharks scored with less than 3 minutes left to play with a goal from #14 Rick Dunnington (to earn a Hat Trick).  The final  score is Oceanside 9, Sharks 3.

Game 6 – AV Sharks 6 vs AV Devils 7

Game 6 started at 8:45 am Dec. 22 on the Weyerhaeuser Arena.

This has been a close game all along.  AV Devils were the first to score with a goal from #3 Blake Knoll, assisted by #4 Keanna Sept.  AV Sharks followed with a goal from #13 Mason Cannon.  Back to the Devils with a goal from #8 Maddux Ward, assisted by #7 Abby Little.  With 3 minutes left in the period, the Sharks score with a goal from #14 Rick Dunnington to tie the score at 2 a piece.  The Sharks takes the lead with a goal from #14 Rick Dunnington, assisted by #9 Brayden Lapointe.  The Devils score with a goal from #13 Blake Knoll and ties the score again.  The Sharks take the lead with a goal from #4 Adam Falkenberg, assisted by #8 Jaden Harrison.  The score at the end of the first period, AV Sharks 4, AV Devils 3.

The Sharks increase their lead with a goal from #17 Alex Connell.  Only seconds later the Devils # 13 Blake Knoll scores a goal. The Sharks return with a goal from #13 Mason Cannon, assisted by #4 Adam Falkenberg.  With the Sharks in the lead, the Devils come on strong to score with goals from #5 Tristan Ruel, #13 Blake Knoll and #12 Kane Dickerson.  At the end of the second period, the score is AV Sharks 6, AV Devils 7.

There was no scoring in the third period.  The final score is AV Sharks 6, AV Devils 7.

Game 4 – AV Sharks 3 vs Comox 5

Game started at 2:45 pm Dec. 21, 2013 on the Weyerhaeuser Arena.

The first goal of the game was scored by Comox #29 Brian Robbins.  It was followed by a goal from AV Sharks #7 Jace Fedirchuk, assisted by #5 Gabriel Wass.  AV Sharks #5 Gabriel Wass scores with an assist from #16 Mason Watts.  At the end of the 1st period, the score is AV Sharks 2, Comox Chiefs 1.

In the second period, Comox #29 Brian Robbins scores 2 goals (and earns a Hat Trick), with the third goal assisted by #20 Jaxon Rich.  At the end of  the 2nd period, the score is AV Sharks 2, Comox Chiefs 3.

Comox adds to their lead with a goal from #25 Cole Smith.  It was followed by another Comox goal from #21 Brynn Parker, assisted by #20 Jaxon Rich.  AV Sharks score with a goal from #7 Jace Fedirchuk and an assist from #13 Mason Cannon.  The final score is AV Sharks 3, Comox Chiefs 5.

There was no penalties in the game.

Game 1 – AV Blues 11 vs AV Sharks 1

Game 1 started at 8:45 am Saturday, December 21, 2013 on the Weyerhaeuser Arena.

In the first period, AV Blues scored 4 goals.  Goal scorers were #11 Jakob Murray, #5 Keelan Parmar and 2 goals from #12 Cameron Maher.

The AV Sharks scored early in the 2nd period with a goal from #14 Rick Dunnington.  The AV Blues added 6 goals to their score.  Goal scorers included 2 goals from #11 Jakob Murray, single goals from #13 Caden Tremblay, #17 Aidan See, #22 and #5 Keelan Parmar.  After 2 periods of play AV Blues 10, AV Sharks 1.

In the third period the AV Blues scored the only goal with 6 minutes left in the period from #3 Maverick Buxton and assisted by #13 Caden Tremblay.  The game ended with the final score is AV Blues 11, AV Sharks 1.

Penalty Summary:  There was no penalties in this game.
